Checked the switch and wiring. Would it be at the wheel perhaps? Im pretty well seasoned with f body's but I'm stumped!

I have checked the switch and the wiring on this. Could it perhaps be at the rear wheels? im stumped

the switch is at the handbrake handle. when i removed my interior i accidentally tripped the switch and it would show the light even with the handbrake released. so i had to depress the switch one more time while the hand brake was released to get it to "reset" IIRC.

if it were anything else related to brakes it should be an ABS light not the hand brake light. its most likely the switch.w

have you had the air bag deploy?

Actually busted the clock spring during a steering column rebuild. Bit it hard on that one. New its so expensive

That light will actually come on I believe if you are low on brake fluid or excessive pressure in the system. There is a wire that goes to a sensor on your combination valve. Some also call it a proportioning valve.
