Not the LT1 heads but this is a magazine test of a bunch of heads including Edelbrocks CNC'd LT4 heads which perform worst of the bunch even compared to other as cast heads and Golen's house ported 185cc ported GM heads. Being a magazine article they don't call a spade a spade as they should but look at the dyno chart.

Then again maybe it is just the intake choking the heads since they gave the Edelbrock heads the Edebrock intake.

ANY research on the Edelbrock stuff will turn up that the results we do have are consistently disappointing.
Now thats a response I like to read. Thank you, for supplying the article and your thoughts. I'm new to this and just wanted some help. My car I've always left stock for show, but now decided to add a little power. So I cam here for help. Thanks again.

Just contacted Lloyd Elliot. This is what he said.

"If you are married to the Ede heads that you have and are gonna run them, we can work with them but unless they inmstalled 2.02/1.60 valves and did A LOT of porting they will be a step below some ported stock GM castings.

The Edelbrock heads are pretty much a joke but if you got them for free its hard to complain."

That makes up my mind. Who wants some heads???

What kind of power did you get from your LE2 package? Also is it the stock bottom end yet? I see you did the OB converstion. What did that run you?
