Default 3 gen rims?

Hi guys a friend of mine brought mt et streets 26-10.5-15the bias plys not radial and know does not want them. the tires are brand new and he will sell them to me for 200 for both so there cheap. My question is will 15in 3 gen camaro rims go on the rear of my 1996 z28. So can i put 26 -10.5-15 tires using 3 gen rims on my 96 z28. I dont care how they look as long as they function. thanks

I head the back spacing is different and would cause them to rub. Is this true. Thanks

I have 3rd gen Iroc rims (15") that I use for the winter in case I have to move the car. I use a 1/4" spacer in the front to clear the caliper (stock brakes) and the back fit fine without a spacer. The 3rd gen rims are the same width as the stock 4th gen rims that came with the car (8") but with a zero offset so there is a little more clearance between the inner edge of the tire and the inner wheel house so, no rubbing there. The outer edge of the tire sticks out further and doesn't tuck under the wheel arch . You could wind up with contact between the quarter panel and the tire if you hit a really deep pothole or violent bump. But if the rear is at stock height it's pretty safe.

I had slicks on my 15x8 3rd gen wheels, they work fine.
