Cheap Bolt ons and power programer
Off to some poor planning, the Hypertech "power Programmer" has been repeatedly documented to slow cars down and costs nearly 3 times as much as custom programming that would make the car faster.

Transmission type, mileage, existing modifications by you or any PO, any known issues with the vehicle and powertrain.
What are your goals/plans with the vehicle, track or DD or both? What is your budget? Have you scoured the forum and found perhaps a vehicle whose modding history you would like to emulate? Have you read the stickies?

Very descriptive post! Nitrous is a "cheap bolt on" that can't be beat hp per dollar....+150hp...With hypertech power programmer too, more like +250hp
