Default Data Logging

Newb question!!!!!!!

I have never data logged before nore have I had a performance car before. What are tips and tricks I need to know to start data logging. Are there any important categories I need to focus on? Or should I just go into it blind and learn everything along the way.

Thanks for the input and pardon my ignorance!!!!

Learn/read up on how a motor SHOULD act...performance motor or just your average Camry. Datalog your car then dissect the information you recorded...

A/F ratio (need a wideband to get accurate numbers)
MAP sensor readings
IAT sensor readings
Fuel trim values

To name a basic few to start looking at to see how the car is running. If you don't know what the meaning of some of the things I listed are, then you have much to learn grasshoppa! Google search names of things, go to a book store and pick up eutomotive book and just read/learn.

LMFAO! I completely understand all those prior to the OP. I have a wideband and all the necessary hardware. I just wanted to get a general idea of what most people focus on when logging. Thanks for the input!
