Exclamation 1994 4l60e transmission problems

i recently rebuilt my lt1 had cam roller rockers and computer mail in tune done and upon starting up for first time putting in drive car did not move replaced trans fluid and car started to move drove to work next day in it and it shifted slow after about 30 min of cruising on freeway started shifting down from over drive and back into overdrive with in few seconds took exit and tach was at 4500 doing 40 gave gas and rpms climbed but speed stayed the same trans just dont fell right at all idk im lost HELP ME PLEASE

Hard to say what the issue is without knowing more,was the trans fine prior to the work done? Was the tranny touched at all during the swap? Who did the work. What did the fluid look like, was there anything in the filter? Stock converter?

So basically the motor is just free reving?

Sounds to me like it was low on fluid and you kept trying to drive it.

The severe multiple bends in the dipstick tube can make the stick hard to read, as fluid that drips off on the way out can get on the stick when you reinsert.

If the converter was drained they should be partially preilled before reinstall.
