For about 2 months my car drove sluggish, wouldn't pick up speed when I stomp it, hesitates when i step on it also like it wants to cut off, I have good fuel pressure, spark... I get the feeling my injectors are clogged I need a icm or ecm... Now the car doesn't start it turns over n over. If it does start it runs for maybe 45sec then cuts itself off, or if I hit the gas it cuts off...thinks that's about it... I live n the pg county area of Maryland if there is any local lt1 mechanics out here

 

Oh and I just put a brand new opti on but it does the same thing

What year is this car? Any modifications? When is the last time it had a proper tune up? Is the check engine light on?

 

next time it wont start and just turns over and over, try starting it while holding the gas pedal to the floor. If it starts, replace the temp sensor in the water pump

 

It's not really a good idea to keep driving a car that obviously has unknown issues going on; I'd get the PCM scanned to see what codes are set.

 

does it start right back up after it turns itself off? when did you check your fuel pressure, hot or cold?
