What's a good brand of O2 sensors to run in the LT1? Thanks

Given the level of opinions being bantered around as absolute truth here, that seemingly innocuous question is almost as inflammatory as asking which brand of oil (or oil filter) is the best. (BTW - One LT1 thread / poll on the "which oil is best" topic is now in excess of 11,000 views, while one regarding to use, or not to use, break-in oil has over 17,000 views!)

But, I'll take the bait and put some blood in the water with a single word:

Bosch.

(93BlackT/A) Just as a means of illustration of my above point, I'll even add an air of authority to the "Bosch" statement with the following:

"I've got 230,000 miles on my vehicle and I've never had an issue with any of my Bosch O2 Sensors."

(There. That should be sufficient. I now defer to the wisdom of the masses.)

i think i got mine off amazon. Saved a lot of money buying them online same part number. I had bosch 02 s before and it seemed to be fine but when I switched tuners the new guy didn't want them in there.

You sure about that? Over the years, people have had awful results with the Bosch, put in Delcos and all was fine. Unless something has recently changed...

Oh yeah?
Well, how about this: I replaced the original O2 sensors in my 98 pickup at 110k miles (just because popular opinion said I should) with AC Delco's. Now at 429k with those same replacement AC Delco's, fuel mileage and power have never been better!
Original AC Delco's in my 2005 Suburban at 197k with same results - mileage and power unchanged from new.
I no longer subscribe to the notion of replacing O2's as preventive maintenance ..........at least with AC Delco's

so take your Bosch and go home!

FYI if you are talking about your '93, you should upgrade to '94+ heated O2 sensors if you have LT headers. The single wire O2s on 93s don't work with headers because they don't get hot enough to function properly. You will have to wire in a keyed relay to power them also.

My observations with the heated sensors: I don't think the Bosch ones would be bad if you were using the same on each bank, but I noticed the voltage readings were a little more erratic than the Delcos.

I have Densos in my car currently. They work just fine and look exactly like this:
