Default Oil cooler delete walk through?

I've spent some time searching, here and via Google, for a detailed walk through on deleting the factory oil cooler/warmer... Anyone have a link to such info? I'm looking for step by step, with a list of all parts needed... Pictures would be a bonus.

For reference, I have a '95 with the later oil cooler (silver/aluminum, vertical mounted coolant inlet/outlet lines)

Took out these bolts with the tabs:

And replaced them with grade 8 bolts:

Oil filter fits perfect:

Had this inlet of the pump welded shut and used a cap and hose clamp on the outlet of the radiator:

Thanks for the pictures!

Is the process the same for the '93-early-'95 cooler and late-'95 style cooler?

Do you have to drain the whole cooling system, or just the radiator for this?

You can also get the bypass hose that goes from the radiator to the water pump, that's what I did when I deleted it on my car.

Not sure on that but don't see why it would be any different.

You're definitely going to have to drain the radiator and you will more than likely lose a lot of coolant from the engine once you disconnect the hoses.
