Service Engine Soon Light Just went to move the car out of the garage and got a blinking service engine soon light. I was just reading that it could be a misfire from a simple bad spark plug or bad wire. The car hasn't had any cat since 2011, and ran like a top like normal last night. I am noticing a small amount of white smoke from the exhaust at idea which has me very concerned. However I replaced the head gasket in 2011 also, and only drive the car maybe 4000 miles a year. No low coolant level light, no other warning lights. Thoughts? I don't have a scanner with me right this second or otherwise I would be scanning it.

Flashing/Blinking SES light is indication of a cyl misfire. That could also make sense for the slight white exhaust as if you have a cyl misfire you likely are running rich on that bank.
Yes. Scan it.
