Smile Third time's the charm

I've owned two previous 96s The first one I sold before I even titled it and the second one was a huge POS and stayed broken more than it ran.

Finally got the bad taste out of my mouth so I picked up another 96 this week.
126K miles. It's got smoothie bumpers, 18" wheels, bonnie seats (which are fantastic!), full exhaust, MSD opti, ported heads, intake, and small cam. Best of all, lots of paper work! Receipts for everything. New tires, recent front end suspension work, new alternator and water pump. AC works, all the windows are on their tracks, no rust!

It still has the stock stall and gears. Those will probably be the first mods. LE2 package looks tempting.

It came with a supercharger that he said came from a side mount Magna Charger kit. No idea why it would say 3.8 if it was suppose to be on a LT1. Maybe these two parts don't go together. It was included in a pile of parts. I have no use for it and was just going to clean it up and put it on ebay. Only search results when I google the numbers on it are about Thunderbirds and Mustangs.

Pretty sure that supercharger is of a Ford 3.8L SuperCoup/Tbird/XR7 variety.

Definitely. I've had the misfortune of owning a couple of those.

That's pretty much all the search results come up as. I'll get it cleaned up and throw it up on Ebay and see if anyone has anything to say about it.

You need to take the tb mounting plate off and see if it's a 1st or 2nd gen blower. Big price difference. 2nd gen will have a much wider inlet.
