Default lt1 spring locator ?
Does anyone know the ID and OD stock lt1 aluminum head spring locator, I'm trying to shim my valve springs and the shims wont fit over the locator.
I have comp cam beehive valve spring 26918-16.

Why would you want to shim them ? All lock combo's set them up short as it is.

looks like I'm going to have to shim .100 to get to 1.800 spring pressure height. Do you think I would be better off with a thick spring locater/cup.

The Overall Diameter of the locator is 1.300"
The Diameter of it, at the "step" is 0.890"
The inside diameter is 0.580"
