Default hypertech

Before I get flamed but I'd figured to try here first. Does anybody have a old unlocked hypertech programmer they would sell. I understand there worth as it has been proven over the yrs to do zero hp wise. I already have a tune but I'm just looking for a easy way at the track to mess around with shift points.

I don't believe they work right if the existing tune is already modified.

If you have a laptop(very minimal hardware requirements) real tuning software and cable are cheaper than you would likely even pay for a used hypertech.

They work fine on a modded tune. I have one that came with the TA, and after loading a bolt-on tune to it I can still play with shift points and adjust the speedo with it. Not worth anything for power.

It is small and convienient, but writes the tune slowly and can't do very much...a netbook and USB OBD cable would be a more useful package.

well I was hoping to score one for what they are probably worth in 2014 which is 0 but I'd pay upto 40 for it. I have the cables and those netbooks are dirt cheap so that is a route. Only looking to mess with shift pts.
