Default Cam swap help

Going with a .565 223/230 110 LSA LE cam soon here. Looking for a pretty budget setup for the swap. Right now as far as parts goes I'm looking at Howard 98215 springs, 4232 valve locks, and 1437 spring shims (.060" shims). Plan on re-using my stock lifters and pushrods. I know I need a new set of stock valve stem seals, but do I need to replace my retainers as well? Also what else is a NECESSITY to do this cam swap. Am I missing anything? It's the first time I've done a cam swap so any help would be appreciated.

Get a good set of hardened pushrods and you'll need a gasket kit..

Might as well replace the timing set with a new GM one while you're there. Be mindful of the valve retainer to valve seal clearance with your new cam. Here's a link to the dimensions I found on a spare set of stock heads I have. https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...6#post16604033 My findings were disputed so accept them or not.
