What's up guys? My 4l60 shifts great from 1/2 and 2/3 but the 3/4 in terrible and the converter kicks in and out. I think the two problems are related? Any ideas?

 

More details please, did it just start doing this? or after a tune, gear change, new converter....

 

WOT and overdrive dont go hand in hand unless your trans is built for it

 

The trans went out, so I had it rebuilt while apart I purchased circle d 3600, put it together and that's what I got. I presume the 3/4 shift and the converter lockup have something in common? I think that will be my problem.
The trans1/2 and 2/3 shift are great and the shift points are great. I had a gauge on it and on the 3/4 shift the pressure would be good for 4or 5 seconds then go back down but it wouldn't shift then 4or 5 seconds after that it would lazy shift.

As far as the converter it's tuned to lock hard. But I don't lock it under WOT. The trans is built for it, it has billet servos and heavier planitaries along with other HP parts.
