Temperature (sending unit?) Issue Hey guys, problem just started with my 1997 z28 today.
The car will come up to temperature and runs just fine, then while driving (mostly on uphill or under half decent acceleration) the temperature gauge will just peg itself out, full hot. It will return to normal usually really quickly, or it will flicker up and down with acceleration/decell.
Any ideas? Im not too sure what this would be symptomatic of, or if its safe to drive the car.

Its a boosted motor (barely, only has ever made 3psi) but the jumping around seems to be under load. If im pointed uphill and give it throttle (gets down to 14mmHg) it flickers, if im pointed downhill and give it throttle, nothing, until i let off.
Very confused, not sure where to look. Going to go try the grounding method now.
