Default ERRRR, car is STILL missing!!!

whats up guys, i need some help before i burn my Z down I am having a miss, u can hear it, i got the code, blah blah blah. Anyway, i was buring wires with my taylor wires and my longtubes and the belt had chewed one up REAL bad, so i got OVC wires.... well i start it up and BAM, STILL miss firing. I just put new tr6 plugs in there, i bought new ones to swap in there "just incase" something had happened say the gap closed etc. What else could it be if its not the plugs?? cuz if its not the plugs, its gonna take alot for me not to burn the bitch down, please help guys, thanks, David.

if its a misfire, check to see if its on a specific cyliner in which case you can chase the culprit down. i was chasing misfires down all over my car after a header install and i had to get autotaped to figure out which cylinder it was. once i changed that plug wire and plug, ziptied the heck outta it, all my misfires went away. also, the plug wires cannot be touching the headers at all, not even with a heat shield. they can be very close with the heat sheaths, but they still cannot make direct contact or they will melt/get brittle/crack or worse(any of which will cause a severe misfire).

Thats kinda funny, i just installed jet hot longtubes, and i have went through multiple wires on the passanger side from being to close with the fire sleaves, they would burn/crack, so i installed OVC wires last night, but i think one of my plugs is bad, im almost positive its on teh pass side, but i am gonna check tonight and HOPEFULLY find the culprit. Thanks for the replies

Ok, so i found the culprit.....It was cyclinder 2 spark plug, i had cross threaded it when i installed my headers, and somehow the gap had closed, so that was the problem, i put in a new Tr-6 and took it for a drive, and it feels AWSOME, this is the first time in like 4 months that it has drove good. Also, is there any way to fix cross threading?? because on the new plug i had to do the same thing since it had happened before. Will i have to buy new heads?? TIA, David.

you aren't going to have to buy new heads just prolly have to pull it off to tapp the hole back into shape unless someone knows how to do it with out getting shavings in the cylinder???

I would pull it off anyway just to be safe. I wouldn't want to risk that.
