LT1 sounds soooooooo good. Way better than LS. No cam? Sounds pretty dog on good!

No cam. It sounds good now...I came from a 04 GTO and before that a 99 Cobra and before that a 03 Mach1. So the LS motor compared to the mod motor was SOOOO much better. I wanted to replicate my GTO sound and struggled to find something that did not sound like a of 350ci truck with a hole in the exhaust.

Here was my 04 GTO with L/T's, catless, home built 3.5" single catback with a 3" magnapack.


Thanks, it's a fun toy to mess with. Next step is to pick up an external mic for it.

 

That Goat sounds like a truck below 2K. Above that sounds like a smooth runner with just a hint of Rasp, I like rasp. I like trucks too though.

 

The second part of this video is what I hate...that individual "machine gun/popping" noise. It's not smooth.
