Default What gauges would you install

I'm planning a custom center console and thinking there will be room for a few gauges in it. Given room and not losing any of the factory instrument cluster what extra gauges and indicator light would you add to the car. I'm planning on spraying the car and it has an electric water pump so I will definitely want lights indicating :
1. Water pump on (switch also)
2. Nitrous armed (Switch also)
3. Nitrous on (Light from Mallory 685 trigger)
4. ???

So, what gauges make the most sense - Thoughts?

It's a manual so I'm not sure the trans temp is necessary.

Why the mechanical fuel/oil outside???

Sorry I won't run any fluids in the car. And you didn't say whether your m6 or a4.

Due to track regulations it would/supposed to be electric.

U can run all the oil press gauges u want inside the car its not a regulation but an inconvenience as the mech gauges are prone to leaks. Yes fuel lines need to stay outside the p-compartment but nothing wrong with running a good electrical fuel press gauge inside. BTW if u look at the slope of our hoods u would look elsewhere to mount gauges.

For gauges, our FI cars u definitely need a fuel press (electrical), and 2 HEGO wide band gauges (one for each bank) to get the tune right. Yea u would want an oil press gauge as our stock oil press gauges have proven not so dependable. Better tach too but it needs to be up where u can watch both tach and the road - not on the center console.

For yer car if u run a dedicated fuel line for the NOx then another fuel press gauge for that also.

For yer OCD a NOx line press might be helpful but could be difficult to watch when in use. And once yer OCD really sets in then a pillar pod can hold 2 more gauges. Some guys add a triple pod but from what i can see the top and bottom gauges are fairly obstructed. FYI i installed a 2 gauge pod in my Z for fuel press and trans temp as it fairly easy to keep my eyes on the road too.

Let us what works for u.

Mechanical oil pressure gauge needs an isolator if in the car, that way hot oil isn't pumped in the car.

NHRA does not require one, you just cannot use cheap *** plastic line for it. Braided or SS hard.

I wouldn't do it either regardless, a quality electric one is a better choice.

As per OP, I run a W/B, ATF temp, fuel pressure, MAP, and I need to grab am IAT one.
