Supposedly, I was a little off on price, they claim $900 for the finished product:

"As many of you know, We (Stephen & Jerry) have been working on a Ford 8.8 conversion process for 4th Gen F-bodies. After some work, we have finally done it and we are now ready to start taking some orders. This is a solution to people who want a strong rear but don't want to spend 2 or 3 thousand dollars. The price will start under 900 for a complete build. We can also install it for you if you like. Just sent me a PM or comment if you would like more info. Proof of concept shown in video."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yq-7...ature=youtu.be

So that is all from their facebook post, from inside the group FLCFA. So I guess you would have to contact them on there, they never posted contact information.

Oh wow! a 2 inch difference for the G92 9bolt. 1 inch each side really gets the dingleberries here confused with the difficult math let alone find a solution.

It's actually an M78 9 bolt and is 2 inches per side..... but we are the ones confused with the difficult math. Ignorance isn't always bliss. .....

It was a 9" at 3rd gen width, 3rd gens had 10 bolts or 9 bolts at the same width, where am I losing you? Google 3rd gen wheel back spacing and 4th gen back spacing, it's 2" different. GM didn't put different offset wheels on 9 bolt cars.

Grasping for straws here, just accept you are wrong for once.

FAQ on a 4th gen rear in a 3rd gen.
http://www.thirdgen.org/forums/trans...-10-bolts.html

"While a fourthgen rear is a direct bolt-in, it'll be 2" wider or a bit less per side (note the link below for more info about width). "

Another link on the topic
http://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-b...-gen-rear.html

"The 93-97 4th gen rears are 3.8" wider from hub to hub so the stock thirdgen wheels will stick out some. A lot say that its even with the fender lip so its not all that bad. Some stick out abit past. the 98+ rears are abit shorter, at about 3.5 inches wide they say, but my measurements are showing more like a 3.125 inch difference. LS1 rear is about 64 3/4inch long and 9 bolt was 61 5/8. Below you can see my pics, its even with the fender lip."

See bold.

No, dont even quote other forums. I can find forums all over the place that say its 1" each side and also 1.5" each side. And too many degenerates like u post on forums. Maybe one of those Australian cars that use a M78 rear are 4" shorter but the G92 camaros are what im talking about.

Wrong at what? Never said the 9bolt was same fit. And if Buttbrain can fit one up then its gotta be easy (unless he really means a 9" ford rear - oh and Buttbrain hasnt figured that one out yet). So Buttbrain used one but no one else can??? Why dont u just put your big fender lips on Buttbrains rear end and forget your an obsessed idiot.

I don't know if this response is serious or just straight trolling. ....

In either case, G92 is the RPO code for a performance axle RATIO. It's not a specific rear end type, it's a ratio (e.g. 3.25 for the auto, 3.42 for the 5 speed). M78 is the code for the 9 bolt.

Also note the well known fact that the gen 3 and gen 4 f bodies have similar track width (Gen 3: 60.6"; Gen 4: 60.7") but drastically different wheel offsets (Gen 3: 0mm; Gen 4: 52-56mm; [read: ~2"] per wheel [read: each side]).
