Default 24x fuel question

Hey guys, we have done lots of modes to my sons car, along with 24 x conversion. My question is should I run the 43.5 fuel psi or closer to 55psi? I have HP tuner and currently running approx 53.
Any experience with that? Thanks

If your fuel pressure is 53 psi then program the injectors for 53 psi. There are calculators around the internet that will help you. Unfortunately I'm at work and can't link them at the moment.

Remember it's still an LT so tune to LT specs, not saying you cannot run 53 but people think when they switch to 24x they tune to LS Specs

Whoever tunes it needs to pretend it's still an LT1 computer. Especially when it comes to timing.

I'm running a 24x conversion on my 396ci lt1 to over 7,000rpm on 43psi. I'm not sure what you have for mods but that should provide verification that tuning at 43psi is sufficient.

There is some HP to be had and also fuel economy by running higher fuel pressures...

That was the first thing my tuner did, cranked fuel pressure to LS1 land, ~55psi.

If it makes it easier to establish offsets and a good quality tune, I don't see why you wouldn't do it.
