1995 comaro z28 I have a 95 comaro with the Lt1 with a auto transmission and when I'm a t high rpms the Trans will not shift to second it just revs but when I'm just driving it shifts perfect what could be the problem

most likely the clutch pack has been burnt to a crisp, my trans started to do this in the 2-3 shift right before it died. it would bounce off the rev limiter till i let off the gas a little
this guy's on to something lol. OP, any new developments?
