Default lt1 burning oil!

okay I need some help. recently got done with my lt1. redid heads, new cam, lifters etc. have major oil consumtion! 1qt every 300 miles. you can see blue some at idle and gets worse when reved up. all 8 plugs are oil coated! cylinders have great compression! have lots of blow by! checked all valve seals and redid intake gasket. I don't know what else to do!

If compression is good then you could have an oil ring problem.

Did you RTV the rocker studs? Sounds like rings but if the bottom end wasn't touched and was fine before, go back through the heads. Double check valve seals, intake to head gasket, etc.

Yeah if it wasn't doing it before, you have something wrong in the heads. Valve guides, stem seals etc.

Stop running it before you do real damage.
Are the intake rocker studs sealed?
With all 8 nasty I double it is the intake gasket but could be a bad mismatch from the heads to intake.

Guys have gotten popular ported heads so thin in a spot or two they sucked oil but all 8 would be weird.

How about the PVC shield on the bottom of the intake, was it left off?
