Yes.

The Camaro was stock. The Corvette had 1.6RR, but nothing else.
My old Z28 could reach 140, and the LT1 that was in my vette would take it to 155.

Nice, thats like a 9.9 to 9.5 car, and just with rockers?

If you want quiet and better than stock the turbo muffs usually a good bang for the buck. With stock manifolds and exh a huge cfm muffler probably wont gain you anything imo.
Never cared much for the brappiness of the magnaflow on wot some like em though its a personal taste thing.
Hooker aerochambers I used to have were loud and droned also. They worked and sounded fine but by no means quiet. Think it depends on how much motor you have, too. Probably quieter on something like yours (one I had was a built BB)

Edit: wanted to add the larger case you can get under the car the quieter it will be. SOme turbos neck down inside some dont check into it

Yeah this car is my daily driver, like I said earlier the only major mod I have is a did a gear swap a month or so ago, other than that only mods are stuff to make it breath better. I think the turbo muffler should suit me just fine. I don't care for CFM change, when I go to the drag strip it have my cutout for lots of CFMs! I completely understand your outlook on that horrible brap magnaflow noise.

A mid 9' is pretty serious in my opinion for the 1/4th mile... David Freiburgers Crusher Camaro with a tuned LS7 and all the goodies on it doesn't even run a mid 9.

Yeah man these 4th gens will check out! So your vette only had 1.6 RR's on it and was stock and run 155? That's pretty impressive!

As far as I could tell when I took it apart, due to an oil issue. When I had it weighed for my curiosity it was about 3300 lbs. I don't remember how much fuel was in it.

ad some resonators, I had headers, ORY, magnaflow 3" in/out on my z28 it was loud I add two resonators (one each side right be hind the tips) I think they was 14" really sounded good and quieted it down but also gave it a aggressive sound

You should learn about et and mph and their relationship to one another.

I have been around and helped build drag cars since I was 6, I think I know ET and MPH's relationship between each other.

155mph trap speed is good for mid 8 ets. You consider a full second off that good?
