Lt1 odd behavior

Default Lt1 odd behavior

Alright guys i recently started having an issue with my car ill turn it on but it take about 3-5 times sometimes itll stall out after. other times itll stay on but sputter then it warms up and its fine for a while and then just die at a stop very randomly. another thing is does is when i floor the gas itll sputter, then go and then be fine then reach low rpms and sputter any ideas?

things ive done

Cleaned the MAF sensor,spark plugs
changed out the wires and the oil,fuel filter, and also the ICM

Fuel Pump was changed awhile back its walbro 255

If you have any ideas let me know

check fuel pressure at idle and also wot. a gauge with a hose on it so you can tape it to windshield

rule out FP issue...symptoms can also be Opti related

Sounds just like what was happening to mine except for the stuttering. I'd let it warm up and in a couple of minutes it would just die. Sometimes it wouldn't though and it ran perfect, even beating the crap out of it. It was the cheap opti I put in it. Next time it dies, check for signal from opti.

checked the fuel and the pressure is fine car still acts like its starving it self im trying to get a scanner to see whats going on and one know what a good scanner is since i have an obd1 with a obd2 connection?

i think you can just buy a cable to connect to a laptop. of course you'll have to download some free software to read the codes... that's what i did when i wanted to read my car's codes

Scan9495 is the best for this, and free! Gary also included instructions on how to make a cable for the obd 1.5 that our cars have for cheap. I did it and it works perfectly. If you go that route let me know, I have an extra universal obd plug you can have (otherwise you'll be waiting three weeks for one from China)
