True dual question ?

True dual question ? So I have been looking at true duals on here and was wondering if the bends in the pipes change the sound at all. I'm used to the symmetrical true dual systems found on mustangs, but when looking at custom true duals for fbody's I see that they cant be run like that due to the torque arm so they are run along the side of the drive shaft along the passenger side. Does this change the sound at all when compared to symmetrical true dual systems that are run straight out back?
