The comp cam book says 2200 stall for the cam we've picked up. Car isn't making a lot of horse power, less than 400, but figured a higher stall would be better. It's more a less a DD in the summer. In theory I should be able to go with a 2400 stall, but its becoming a budget thing. FTI is roughly 1k, and Jakes was trying to sell me one for 900+ without WOT lockup. But that converter is rated for almost 1000hp according to the website, which is some insane overkill on price and stats that I don't need or want.
Summit seems to have a few rated at 2500 stall, lockup for 570 by Hughes Performance, which I'm also considering as an option.
Just trying to keep options and budget open really. Appreciate the input so far though.

Mine is a triple disk lock up for boost though, IDK why you have priced out such expensive converters.
Circle D, Yank, PT, Edge all make 80e conversion torque converters.
