Default Cranking pressure

Just for grins, and since a few have asked, I took some cranking pressure readings while I was in the process of changing plugs last night.

350 CID
CR = 12.0:1
228 @ .050" custom cam
103 ICL
No oil squirted into cylinders.
Engine has been sitting since November.
All plugs out.
Throttle open.
Local baro pressure was 29.04"Hg.

3 different cylinders: 239, 244, & 245 psi

I wasn't expecting quite that high. Kudos again to Mike Harris for a well-sealed build. 5 years and counting!

Default

That is what I see with the same setup. Stock starter with larger gauge wire.
