Default Engine builder in Denver

Hello all, Ive got a 96 Trans Am with 170000 miles on it an am considering an engine rebuild. I'm looking for a reputable builder/installer in the Denver area. Nothing to crazy, bigger cam, possibility of Elliott Portworks heads, LT headers, (All ready have cat back done). I'll be doing the LTCC ignition mod later this month and already upgraded the fuel pump and wiring. It in an A4 car so torque converter will be replaced as well. Any ideas on someone that is good in the Denver area to rebuild and re-install? I don't have the facilities at home to do it myself. Goals are little more horsepower, its not quite a daily driver, but that could change once the ignition is sorted out. I do like a lope to the idle, but emissions is an issue. It might see the track a couple of times a year, but not to much. My budget is approx 5k. Any help is appreciated. Thanks !

I'm local. Had the short-block machined and built in Fort Collins and then I did the rest of the assembly. I had it tuned here in Denver by an outfit that can also pull it, rebuild it and put it back in the car.

One thing, don't just let anybody do the engine. Must shops are completely ignorant of a higher HP LT1 build. A few shops actually refused the work because they didn't want to be liable for the engine because of the 12.41 compression. They mistakenly thought the thing would detonate itself to death. They had ZERO experience with the reverse-cooled LT1. I don't have any detonation on 91 octane, full throttle to 6300 rpm. DO NOT let anybody talk you into dished piston, it will absolutely KILL performance.

PM me for the names of the shops.
