Down on power
If there's a junk yard by you, those stock metal shields came on all LT1s. I didn't think to mention them cause they don't always fit with headers (#5 cyl with my SLPs) without modifing them somewhat.

Yeah I was worried about that because my #5 and 6 Primaries are less than a 1/4" away from the wire boot which is why they get hot so easily.
