PCV?

PCV? Hey guys , Got a question for ya. What is up with the (i think its the) pvc. It runs from the drivers side intake to the lower front of the intake. Mine keeps poping out when i start making boost on my car. And oil is also comming out of it. What is the purpose of IT. Can I plug it.
The stupid valve that goes into this hole keeps comming out. I am guessing that it is taking gases from one place to the next. But why would it go back into the intake ,. If you cant tell. Im lost with this one.

PCV's job is simply to vent your crankcase. The reason it's connected to the intake is so that the vacuum can draw air out of the crankcase. Often times you'll find the only good it does is to increase oil consumption, and gunk up the inside of your throttle body and intake manifold. If the line is popping out of the passenger side valve cover, just clean the hose and hole up real well, and use some black RTV to hold it in place. Be sure to give the RTV 24 hours to cure, and it should stay in there.

It's actualy poping out of the intake (drives side) Its the one that has the hard line comming from the front of the intake to the side of the intake with a one way valve (metal) That keeps poping out. I will try and rtv it in place.

Need to get that pressure out! I ran 14# and never blew stuff out. your rings are letting to much by.
If you have stock pistons I would suspect broken ring lands. If not the ring have not or will not seal properly

Yeah , I have no doubt that my rings are letting some get bye. They are stock rings, pistons, crank, rods, I got 30 thousand supercharged miles on it. This is their last summer. I guess i should hold off on the spray like I wanted to do.
