Default 24x Speedo Issue

I am finally to the point of driving my car, after many years. But I am experiencing many issues, most of which I think I can fix. One that is not making any sense to me is that the computer (and thus speedo) reads 158 mph when ever the car is moving. Has anyone else had any issues with this conversion and a speedo problem?

My car is a 4l60e with 2001 ECU, and I am tuning with the most recent HPtuners BETA.

I checked the wiring and it is good, I checked the sensor and for some reason the sensor plug is wetted with ATF. Is that normal? I bought a new sensor, but it looks like I will need to drain the Tranny fluid to change it out? Has anyone changed this sensor?

My harness came with 2 green wires crossed on the connector by the passanger door, but mine stayed at 0 ont 158. but theck the green wires. sensor should be dry. dry it off and see if it will come back. If you do end up replacing just jack the rear of the car, so when you pull it there will be no atf behind. No need to drain

The sensor being wet could mean its bad, but probably the seal is weeping.

Have you adjusted the speedo calibration correctly?

You should list more details about what pcm you are using like your OSID

There is a thread going at hptuners for l1 24x guys with some setup info.
