LT1 Overheating, SOLVED.
If you are road racing or autoxing, sure you are better off with higher flow from the mechanical. Cruising down the highway at 2krpm, you aren't benefiting from the mechanical at all.
What other bull **** can you spew out now?

There's no grasping at straws here. This is fact. If it's such a non-issue, why don't ANY major manufacturer use them from the factory? Care to guess?
BTW, I found out the BMW did do an EWP from the factory (E90). Wow, talk about a failure rate. It's embarrassingly bad for BMW........

"In fact BMW began using electric water pumps around 2007 and several other manufacturers are working on similar versions".
"When used with the Davies Craig Digital EWP and Fan Controller (PN DC-8000), the pump speed is increased and decreased based on the engines operating temperature, instead of rpm."
^Pretty neat! I wish mine did that...

But cool tech none the less. They are about $400 for the E90 unit. I wonder how one of these could be implemented on an LT1? But we'd have to deal with their poor service life. They are definitely more powerful that anything currently offered for our cars.

My setup is what it is because of the limitations placed on building LT1s. Such is life.
Humidity/dew point also screws with your DA for the day, its a killer of power and ET. And water injection will always displace fuel, so you "lose" power.

On the topic of water pumps, my truck has a gear driven one. Stupid LT1 traits won't leave me alone.
