Broken Arp flywheel bolts what's causes this?!

I used the same bolts on my car and they've been on/off a few times with my steel spec flywheel, never an issue. It's hard to tell from your pics but it doesn't look like there's enough chamfer on around the bolt holes for the ARPs. the black oxide coating on the radius of the bolt appears to be worn off. I think you need more clearance.

Looks like they were over torqued IMO.

I'm going to the machine shop tomorrow for something else, so im gonna bring my flywheel and broken bolts with me and see what they say. Heres a couple pictures.

Machine shop said it needs to be chamfered so I guess there lies my issue. Hopefully problem solved.

Imo. I would make a steel insert for the bolt holes. It looks like when you torqued the bolts down the aluminum crushed down around the bolt shank. With out a wash/spacer to spread the load its going to happen again.

Yes. If you look at the holes you can see the indentation around the hole.
