Auxiliary Oil cooler question
I already have the oil cooler. Use to be my Trans cooler and I just ordered a new B&M 70264. The old cooler is too small imo for my tranny so I'll keep it and use it on my motor oil since stock oil cooler is useless.
Here's my old Trans cooler I'm looking to move over on the drivers side for the oil.
It's supposedly a 24k according to my Trans builder.
To delete is easy. 3951644 is the part number for the bolts(2 of them)you need, or you can simply cut off the top of the long bolts that are installed. The hose needed to connect the radiator to WP can be picked up at any parts store, it's listed as a heater hose. I picked up a Gates one from Napa a while back.

Engine oil runs at higher pressure than tranny, I wouldn't go repurposing a tranny cooler.
Typical mods include 160 stat and fan temp lowering 30-40 degrees. That helps keep kil cooler. I wouldn't add plumbing which is restriction unless running a road course. Since you are asking if it needs another pump I will go out on a limb and say you are not doing that.
No additional pump, and this is a poor idea at best, drop it.

60e line pressure is 55 to 189psi stock. Reverse line is 64-324psi.

OP, personally the hose clamps and cheesy cooler scare me more than you wanting to use it as an oil cooler. Do it right with correct AN fittings and braided line.
I would get a canton spin on adapter, run 12an lines up to a very large cooler and go from there. Setrab etc.
The b-body has a more traditional oil cooler and they used all threaded and crimped connections, but on the tranny line there is a spring clamp. That would seem to support my presumption.
