I can relate to the 5% tint. It's one of the first things I did to my car. As a result, I turned my car right into a concrete based light pole in a dimly lit K-Mart parking lot because I could not see it. The upside is that I looked very, very good doing it.

It definitely sucked at the time, but I was styling right up to the point of impact. That was around 20 years ago. Now that I can't see even under the best conditions, and assuming I ever get my car off the jack stands, I will probably be running into everything.

I never understood the stigma that surrounds F-bods. Mine have always been rather nice, rattle less than other cars, handle better, and get compliments everywhere I go.
Then again, I tend to take better car of my vehicles than most. While my 300C SRT8 is more "luxury" with the seat heaters, giant bolsters, etc. - I still pick the Z to drive for the most part. But some times I'll come home for lunch and drive one of the others back to work to keep them happy.

I have to roll my windows down at night to see my side mirrors lol. The dill-hole who owned it before me put nearly pitch black limo tint on it, probably 3%, so you can't see the side mirrors through it at night.
Looks badass though, and kept it a ton cooler then other cars during the summer back when it was a driver .

The stigma is from a cheap horsepower platform that ran for 35 years that always used an engine that responded well to mods. The mustangs of the 70s and 80s took more to make fast and the sbc under the hood of the camaro was always a head/cam swap away from being a good street fighter. If the nova or Chevelle had lasted as long it would have the same stigma, or if the mustang responded as well to boltons it would too.
