Default Quick Swap Advice Please

So, if you had a 2011 L96 built, wiring harness, pcm, LS1 aftermarket k member, controls arms, springs, brakes, etc.. to swap into your TA and a shop was going to do the conversion.. would you drop the LT1 front end and trailer the car to the shop.. or is there more involved here? i.e. would it be easier for the shop to start with everything on the car? I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section..

Surely there's people on here with swap experience and with working with the shop. Just need some lessons learned

Personally I'd pull the motor from the top, and LABEL EVERY WIRE for them, very carefully, with printed labels. Run this by the shop first, but that keeps the front suspension on to roll it. I might go a step further and loosen all bolts, just so they don't waste time battling rusted bolts. If you pull it and leave a mess of wiring, that will make their job harder to splice the new with the old.
