That intake will collect u suck butt WANABEES more than hp. It will lower your intake restriction a little but lower your bank account a whole lot more. Again your making more mods u don't understand and then asking Big Suckazz losers that don't have a clue to tell u what u did is right. Before long u will have a trailered only bomb with big white stripes to hide the trailer hook and strap scrapes.
If u think u gonna get pulse wave tuning or any reversion under 10 lbs of boost u need a collection idiots to make u feel, well, less stupid. Happy new year.

I've had all kinds of intakes on LT1's for the most part the single planes will do nothing for the bottom end. Probably won't see any improvement below 4500 and not much above it.

Yea I know, I have heard Dwayne on his soapbox before.

Its now better port matching and lighter, so with any luck it did something.

The guy with the world's quickest NA LT1 B-body found the same thing. He experimented with single plane intakes with different TB configurations and picked up about 10 peak hp. But it went slower at the track, so he's back to the LT1 intake.

So I guess if the car doesn't run 9's with the ported single plane this will count as an excuse?

So it sounds like the LT1 intake isn't all that bad when properly ported. Anyone ever done anything really special with the stock intake?

Probably not, but, again, I have a boosted car and have always subscribed to the front feeding intakes biasing cylinders. So we shall see.

Ah well, car makes no torque cause of the single plane according to LS1tech.

Jeff Green is pushing about 1500 hp with a blower setup and the LT1 intake manifold, modified to port match the AFR LT4 heads. But he also runs an 8-channel wideband and "staggers" injectors and rocker ratios to keep the mixture correct in all cylinders. He just does all this for the challenge to stay "LT1".
I see no downside to the single plane on a boosted setup.

Yup, one of the outlaw cars at the shootout was a turbo motor with stock intake, he ran 8s. It can be done for sure.

But I hold no reverence to the "LT1" aspect and I work with the pile of parts I got. LE was confident this porting would help out some, so what the hell.

Considering you started with a tiny 1.90 x 1.10 stock Victor E port, if this doesn't help then LS swap it.
