I ran two high flow cats right off the headers wayyy back and they did help cut down on the fumes/smell. For shits and giggles we sniff tested it and the thing was still off the charts though. I did not noticed a difference at the track either. |

What i ran on my old y pipe setup |
No sniff tests in Michigan. The only reason i even want to run one is to help get rid of rasp and deepen the tone of the exhaust because the headers and y pipe would be too loud! I also have a mufflerless catback! So im thinking a highflow cat and a bullet muffler behind that should sound good??? Any thoughts??? |

I have 2 of those in my 3 inch Hooker Y pipe with long tubes and GMMG. I did it to cut down on fumes and it's worked pretty well. |
