Default High flow cats

Are these high flow cats any good for the price, i would like to run one in my i pipe after the y pipe haha. Just bolt ons for mods. Maybe a bullet muffler after the cat?

I had one installed on my I pipe. $70 installed at a local shop. Maybe that one is a better catalyst? Anyway, I did a dyno with and without it, no difference. I got a bigger gain by ditching the ebay CAI.

I'd say talk to a local exhaust shop, you may get a better deal.

I ran two high flow cats right off the headers wayyy back and they did help cut down on the fumes/smell. For ***** and giggles we sniff tested it and the thing was still off the charts though. I did not noticed a difference at the track either.

I too noticed a drop in fumes, never had it sniffed though. I removed the Cat though, no particular reason. I'll be going to dual Cats soon.

No sniff tests in Michigan. The only reason i even want to run one is to help get rid of rasp and deepen the tone of the exhaust because the headers and y pipe would be too loud! I also have a mufflerless catback! So im thinking a highflow cat and a bullet muffler behind that should sound good??? Any thoughts???

I have 2 of those in my 3 inch Hooker Y pipe with long tubes and GMMG. I did it to cut down on fumes and it's worked pretty well.
