Question Fuel Line Schrader Valve Problem

I need to replace my fuel filter. After the turbo system was put in, where the Schrader valve would be you can see there's now a connection. How do I relieve the pressure now with this setup?

Thank you for any info!

You don't?

Just let the car sit for a while, place bucket under fuel filter, unhook, and swap.

Oh...I see. I just tend to have bad luck when I skip any steps. Haha. Okay, she hasn't been run for a few days so I'll give it a try...and not smoke while under the car. Haha

Thanks.

If the system still has pressure, when you disconnect either line from the filter, pressure will release along with gas. Its not very exciting.

No bueno. :/ For reference though, I have a fuel pressure gauge in the cabin which this is the sender for. Not sure if that helps clarifying.

another easy way to bleed off your rail pressure is simply pull the two injector fuses and crank the car for a few seconds. the injectors will blow the pressure off quickly. or apply 9v or so to an injector for a sec (not 12v or you might blow an injector coil)

That's interesting, I would have figured that would build the pressure in the rail since the fuel would have no where to go. That would be a great solution!
