Default oil presuure reading very high

Hey guys, I replaced my ops and when doing so deleted the 2 rigytcangle fittings that previously help said sensor. When i statted the car i read a steady 60psi on the gauge. Is this a faulty sensor, or did removing two riggt angles en restrict flow, and the sensor is now reading "higher pressure" before my old sensor broke i always read a consistent 40 on the gauge. Any thoughts?

Why did you remove the fittings? Just curious.

Likely the wrong oil pressure sensor. Happened to me when I did my rebuild, Damn thing pegged to max. Now my new one reads low..... Ugh. I've since installed a mechanical oil pressure gauge.

I suspect wrong sensor as it was an ac delco replacement part for the actual oem part that was the OPS. 94z, I removed them because I had room to dit the sensor and 2 right angle firtings seemed reundant and unnecessary
