Lt1 idle issues/hesitation
Lt1 idle issues/hesitation Hey guys, my 97 lt1 is having some issues running rich and idling. If I hit the gas it stumbles and takes awhile to catch up and when it does it sounds horrible. Car is running rich at idle. Air/fuel is reading 10.9 at idle. If I unplug TPS or MAF while car is running it does not affect the car at all. I recently repainted the engine bay so I am uncertain if I have a bad ground somewhere or just bad 02 sensors. Tried to hook up a scanner to it and it will power up the scanner but the scanner will say unable to read DTCs. Car idles about 600-700 and is also blowing out white smoke I'm assuming from all the unburned fuel as it is not burning any oil or coolant. Car did rev up once and idle normally and quit smoking once for about 10 seconds then it went back to acting like crap. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
