L98,LT1 and LT4

L98,LT1 and LT4 Hello friends, I understand that this site doesn't really cover the L98 engine in corvettes but I wanted to ask this because I haven't found a good solid answer. Since they all have he same 5.7 liter displacement, is there any interchangeability between these three engines? for instance, if i buy a '88-'91 C4 with the L98, could i put LT1/LT4 parts on it, like heads, intakes, cams, etc? I haven't really found a solid answer for this so I thought i would ask straight up. Any help would be appreciated.
The LTs are reverse cooled so blocks, heads, intakes, ignition parts, water pump, etc. are all different. A lot of bottom end and some top end parts will swap between the two depending on year (rear main seal, cam type).
You can bolt the heads on but they will have to be converted to conventional cooling which isn't worth the cost unless you got some bad *** lt1 heads for extremely cheap. The intake bolts onto lt1 head bolt pattern so if you had the heads on the intake will bolt on but you'll need to drill a hole in the rear for a distributor.
Many tpi guys run lt1 intake converted for the gen 1 bolt pattern and modified for a rear mount distributor because it flows about as well as the best aftermarket tpi intakes and is much cheaper.
