I've searched on here about this cam but haven't had a clear answer to my question. Can you run this cam (224/230) without a tune for a short while? I'm going to tune the cam, but not until next week. Will running it untuned, temporarily, hurt anything?

 

I ran the cc503 untuned for a short bit until my dyno tune appointment. Nothing bad happened, ran a little funky but it was okay.

 

I wont be able to tune until next thursday... is that too long?

 

I don't think it will be an issue, just take it easy when driving it.

 

It will be fine assuming you didn't go swapping injectors.

 

I hate to ask, but is there a tune I can get from the internet besides a mail order tune for my cam only lt1?
