Default Newbies first post and a little advice needed.

As I said first post on here but I've been doing quite a bit of reading and scrolling. Lots of great knowledge floating around on here for sure. But here's my dilemma I've torn second gear out of my 94 z28 m6. I have priced the gear and noticed a pretty large price difference between oem and aftermarket. Is one better than the other or is there an upgraded version that's tougher somewhere? I plan on doing the work with the help of my dad and also plan on upgrading other parts at the same time. Planning on all bronze shift fork pads and isolator cup, full bearing kit, and steel 3-4 shift fork. A little long winded but any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated! Glad to be in here and hope to learn from anyone willing to help. Thanks

Aftermarket being cheaper? If so, Chinese parts. Stick with OEM.

I went through this process a year ago (except that i didn't have reverse), i did what you did, plus billet syncro keys for 1-4, besides going all out with the viper shaft and all, that's the only other thing i might suggest to toughen it up. I also did the rear end and went with a Timken kit, going strong so far
