Default LT1 block numbers

I have some stamped numbers on a block I'm re building, the numbers and letters are V0203XPJ they are very faint but I think they are correct. They are on the right fron corner(passenger side). I was searching for a VIN on the block but other than casting numbers these are all I can find. The engine is supposed to be a 95 Buick Roadmaster, so far the Opti and heads agree it is a 95 vented opti but not OBD2 etc. Just wondering what they were because so many Vendors want a VIN first thing when trying to order parts ( I won't deal with these folks) which is a PITA if you don't have it. Thanks Bill

There is no block VIN just date codes on the top and either 4.3 (L99 4.3) or 327 (LT1 350) on the side. The LT1 block itself will work for any vehicle (vette, f-body, b-body) that came with one so all you need to match is the cam, opti and timing cover. All LT1 b-bodies used the vented opti BTW.

V0203XPJ Built in Flint, Feb 3rd. Although XPJ was not listed, the other variables of XP? are all 1995.

Thanks guys, I feel better now. Does anyone know who builds a "stand alone" engine control unit? I want to put this in a 94 SWB C-10.

Use the original pcm and a modified harness or aftermarket harness.
