nitrous lt vs procharged coyote Hey guys im gonna be racin a d1sc 14 coyote 6speed mustang soon. Guy says he wants a low roll n hes makin 620 rwhp. I got a 94 z28 cc306 longtubes 30lb injectors cai dump duals tune built th350 3500 stall n hoosier slicks 373 gears n a 150 wet dual fogger. What do you see the outcome being?
Hes got about 150hp on you, but you have the launch advantage and weight advantage. You could gut the car quick, shoot for 3000lbs, and have a better shot, but unless you go from a dig you are leaving it up to his driving skills. If he sucks at shifting, you'll crush him in the 1/4 but in the high gears he might walk away.

I feel like id kill him from a dig but he said he wont waste his time. I watch him put about 4 or 5 cars on a bolt on 07 sti from a 25 roll. He told that guy he was short shifting him but it didnt seem it n he didnt spin any.
Don't give this guy a roll, he will not have to shift and can build up boost with his brakes. You will have torque and if you can get your nitrous all in quickly I can see you beating him from the dig.
If he has more horsepower and he wants a roll then that isn't a fair race. Give him cars or something cause he's just going to freight train you roll racing.

Okay thanks guys. I have a turbo 347 fox im building. Ive got a lil money to finish it but to be honest i like my fbody better i may use the money to go all out with a forged 396 heads intake better cam n a bigger shot n 12 bolt rear end. I have the nitrous outlet shot can go up to 400 n my trans n stall could handle the power.
Just to give you some reference, with the mods in my signature, I recently raced a 650 rwhp 03 Cobra Mustang. From about 50-125 mph it was very tight. I won but it was less than a car length. A 650 rwhp Cobra should be very similar to your buddy's setup
