Default Question about TB

Is there any reason not to use a Jegs or Summit brand TB? I currently am in the process of tearing my motor down due to a blown head gasket and will be doing a cam swap sense it is tore down.

Thanks

keep your stock tb. it can handle over 400 hp easy. waste of money. also, if your intake isnt port matched its even more of a waste. and if you re auto, you need to get the ecu tuned for the larger tb or it will idle/shift funny

I am aware that a tune is needed. I am aware that the intake will need to be opened up. And if the heads need to be shaved then the intake may also need to be shaved. And port matched. I am thinking about installing the cc306.
