Will the ignition lock cylinder for a manual car fit an automatic car?

Default Will the ignition lock cylinder for a manual car fit an automatic car?

The only difference I'm seeing is that the manual car has a little button on the ignition that you press to turn the key to the OFF position.


Car in question is a 93 Trans Am. Mine is an automatic and I'm seeing only standard transmission lock cylinders in stock. Can't find automatic cylinders in stock.

That's the only difference. The steering columns are not transmission specific, so either one will work.
